Good afternoon, Warwick! We've had a busy 24 hours with graduation celebrations carrying over and a vibrant Farmers Market in full swing. Here's a look at what's been happening in our community.
Warwick Valley High School celebrated its graduating Class of 2026 with a commencement ceremony on Saturday morning, June 27th. A total of 346 seniors received their diplomas under cloudy skies. Photos from the event are available online.
Warwick residents were encouraged to stop by the Warwick Valley Farmers Market today, June 28th, to see what the WHS had going on. The market featured local farmers, artisans, and community organizations, along with live music from Rich Seiner.
A new book, 'Revolutionary Road Trip,' by Darley Newman highlights historic taverns and bars connected to America's founders, including Baird's Tavern in Orange County. The feature was also picked up by the New York Post, encouraging readers to explore these historic locations.
The Albert Wisner Public Library is now hosting a weekly movie screening every Monday at 1:00 PM in the Community Room. No registration is needed, and the first film featured was 'Milk.'
Orange County Government announced the arrival of Kenneth Brownlee as a Probation Officer Trainee and welcomed back Amanda Daly to the Probation team. Kenneth joins from the private sector, while Amanda returns after serving with Dutchess County.
